A liquid crystal display on the console provides information on the state of the console and all extensions or trunks connected to it. The information is presented on four lines of forty characters. The console consists of three units: a liquid crystal display (LCD) unit, detachable keyboard and a handset rest. The console can be operated using a handset or headset as required by the operator.
