We define the Realitis DXR Communication Server as follows:

Realitis DXR Communication Server is a modular system with call processing functions, gateways, features and open interfaces for voice, fax, data and video communication. It also provides the possibility of also employing voice features in other network infrastructures.

Realitis DXR Communication Server will provide gateways between ISDN and IP networks, and importantly provides communication client applications which support all of the Realitis DXR features. This allows customers to introduce new communication capabilities for users, such as video, Microsoft NetMeeting, etc, but without sacrificing any of the voice features and ease of use which are expected from Realitis DXR. In addition, ease of management is maintained for all users, digital telephone users and LAN-based PC users, thus simplifying the administration of users in a converged voice and data network.

Realitis Xpress is our name for the various gateways, interfaces and client applications detailed above, and provides a migration path for our customers into an IP-based communication future.
